How FourNumbers gets your readings
- From Apple Health, automatically. FourNumbers only reads blood pressure and pulse from Apple Health. It never writes or changes anything there.
- Take a photo of your monitor's screen.
- Type it in.
It works with any upper-arm or wrist cuff.
Step 1: Turn on sharing in iHealth MyVitals
- Tap Account (bottom right).
- Under DATA, tap Authorize 3rd Party Apps.
- Tap Apple Health > Authorize > Done.
The button then says "Unauthorize" — use it if you want to disconnect. The app may also offer this while you create your account.
Step 2: Let FourNumbers read Apple Health
Open FourNumbers and allow Blood Pressure and Heart Rate when iOS asks for Apple Health access.
To check later: iPhone Settings > Apps > Health > Data Access & Devices (or Health app > your profile picture > Privacy > Apps).
Tips
- Use the current iHealth MyVitals app, not the older legacy iHealth app.
- If readings don't appear, open the Health app > profile picture > Privacy > Apps > iHealth MyVitals and make sure Blood Pressure is turned on.
How FourNumbers helps
Your readings show up in FourNumbers next to your meals and medications. You can also snap a photo of your monitor or type a reading in anytime.
