How FourNumbers gets your readings
- From Apple Health, automatically. FourNumbers only reads blood pressure and pulse from Apple Health. It never writes or changes anything there.
- Take a photo of your monitor's screen.
- Type it in.
It works with any upper-arm or wrist cuff.
Step 1: Export to Apple Health in the Withings app
In the Withings app (formerly Health Mate):
- Tap Profile > Settings (gear, top right).
- Tap Export health data to Apple Health > Next > Next.
- Turn on Blood Pressure and Heart Rate, then tap Allow > Done.
Withings doesn't sync to Apple Health on its own
Withings says that because of an iOS restriction the sync isn't automatic. After a reading: open the Withings app, then the Health app, then go back to Withings and pull down on the Home tab to refresh. It can take up to 15 minutes. Readings saved as "GUEST" on the cuff don't sync.
New Withings accounts
Withings says accounts created on or after October 13, 2026 need a Withings+ subscription to export data to Apple Health. Older accounts aren't affected. Either way, you can always log in FourNumbers with a photo of the screen or by typing it — no subscription needed for that.
Step 2: Let FourNumbers read Apple Health
Open FourNumbers and allow Blood Pressure and Heart Rate when iOS asks for Apple Health access.
To check later: iPhone Settings > Apps > Health > Data Access & Devices (or Health app > your profile picture > Privacy > Apps).
How FourNumbers helps
Your readings show up in FourNumbers next to your meals and medications. You can also snap a photo of your monitor or type a reading in anytime.
